Bio
Ian Anderson started racing on the 4th of July 2003. He took a class at the Las Vegas XPlex and found that he enjoyed racing as much as his dad did. It wasn’t long before his dad went to Arizona to pick up his first kart and they began racing at the Las Vegas Kart Club and Las Vegas XPlex and continued until leaving Las Vegas briefly for Florida. Racing in Florida was a bit more challenging but even while being the guy from out of town, he was able to fair well and keep in the pack with kids that hope to race professionally one day. Ian returned from Florida after the racing season had begun at the Las Vegas Kart Club and it wasn’t too long before decisions were being made to move to the Bandolero Class. Ian raced at the Las Vegas Bullring in 2008 and after two years in the Bandolero class, Ian has made the step to move to the Legend in 2009. Since this move to the Legends, Ian is loving every minute behind the wheel. He has improved with each race and with the help of Thomson Motorsports, hopes to keep improving.
